Returns Policy
Grab.Eat.Sip delivers meals designed to meet the needs of fast-moving professionals, home entertainers, and event organisers, with no compromise.
At Grab.Eat.Sip, we want every customer to feel confident and satisfied with their order. We take pride in preparing fresh, high-quality products and are committed to resolving any issues in a fair and transparent manner.
We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied, you can return the product to us and we will either repair/replace it, or credit your account, subject to the below terms. This Policy applies to products bought from Grab. Eat. Sip itself and from authorised Third Party Sellers.
- Returns of Defective or Incorrect Products
- Due to the perishable nature of our products, food items cannot be returned once delivered or collected, except where the product is defective, unsafe for consumption, or not what you ordered.
- If you receive an incorrect, damaged, or unsafe item, please notify us within 24 hours of delivery/collection. We may request photos or further details to assess the concern.
- If a return or replacement is approved, we will either replace the product, issue a credit, or provide a refund in line with the Consumer Protection Act.
- Under no circumstances will donations made on our website, or any goodwill credits, be refundable.
Note: This Policy is aligned with the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008. In terms of Sections 55 and 56, Grab. Eat. Sip guarantees that all food items are of good quality, safe for consumption, and as described. Due to the perishable nature of our products, the right to return or cancel is limited to within 24 hours of delivery or collection, except where otherwise required by law. Perishable goods are excluded from the standard 7-day cooling-off period in terms of Section 20 of the Act.
- Cancellation & Refunds
- Orders may be cancelled at least 48 hours before delivery or collection without penalty.
- If preparation of your order has already commenced, we may not be able to refund you due to the perishable nature of our products.

- Refunds or credits (where applicable) will be processed within 7 working days using the same payment method you originally used.

Payment Method Refunds
- Credit Card: refunded to the same card.
- Instant EFT or COD (cash on delivery): refunded to your nominated bank account.
- Discovery Miles/eBucks: refunded to the same loyalty account.
- Nedbank Personal Loan:
- If, at any time, items are returned (and such return is approved by Grab. Eat. Sip) in accordance with this Returns Policy or cancelled before delivery in accordance with customer terms and conditions, the value of the validated refund or cancelled item (as the case may be) will be credited to your loan account or repaid to you by Nedbank.
- However, if you cancel your entire order before delivery, or if you return your entire order within 24 hours of delivery (and such return is approved by Grab. Eat. Sip in accordance with this Returns Policy), and provided there was no delivery charge on the order, then Nedbank will refund you any fees and interest due on the loan and cancel the loan accordingly.

Governing law and jurisdiction
- This Refunds & Returns Policy forms part of, and must be read together with, the full Grab. Eat. Sip Terms & Conditions. In the event of any inconsistency between this Policy and the Terms & Conditions, the Terms & Conditions shall prevail, and nothing in this Policy is intended to limit or waive your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008.
- These Terms and Conditions and our relationship and/or any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Your continued use of the Website will constitute your consent and submission to the jurisdiction of the South African courts regarding all proceedings, transactions, applications or the like instituted by either party against the other, arising from any of these Terms and Conditions.
- In the event of any dispute arising between you and Grab. Eat. Sip, you hereby consent to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the High Court of the Republic of South Africa (Western Cape Division, Cape Town) notwithstanding that the quantum in the action or proceedings may otherwise fall below the monetary jurisdiction of that court.
- Nothing in this clause or the Terms and Conditions limits your right to approach any court, tribunal, or forum of competent jurisdiction in terms of the CPA.

This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Grab. Eat. Sip chooses as its **domicilium citandi et executandi** for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature.
