Delivery, Collection And Storage

We want your Grab.Eat.Sip experience to be seamless from kitchen to table. The information below explains how our delivery and collection process works, as well as what you can expect when placing an order with us.

This Delivery, Collection & Storage Policy forms part of, and must be read together with, the full Grab.Eat.Sip Terms & Conditions. In the event of any inconsistency between this Policy and the Terms & Conditions, the Terms & Conditions shall prevail, and nothing in this Policy is intended to limit or waive your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008

  1. Delivery Areas
    We currently only deliver or arrange collection for products purchased directly from Grab.Eat.Sip within South Africa.

  2. Delivery Options
    At checkout, you can select one of the following convenient options:

    • Door-to-Door Delivery – your order is delivered directly to the address you provide.
    • Collection – you may collect your order at the designated Grab.Eat.Sip location confirmed with you when placing your order.
  3. Door-to-Door Delivery

    3.1 Delivery Address
    To ensure smooth delivery, please provide us with a full and accurate delivery address. We rely on this information, and delivery may be affected if details are missing or incorrect. We unfortunately cannot be held responsible for consequences of an inaccurate delivery address.

    3.2 Delivery Times
    Deliveries are made Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) between 8:00 and 17:00. Delivery remains subject to product availability, courier access to your location, and other factors beyond our reasonable control.

    3.3 Delivery Fees
    • A standard delivery fee of R250.00 applies per order.
    • Orders over R2500.00 qualify for free delivery.
    • Additional charges may apply for outlying or hard-to-reach areas. These will be shown at checkout before you confirm your order.
    Delivery fees may change from time to time, but you will always see the final applicable fee before payment.

    3.4 Delivery Partners
    We work with trusted courier partners to get your order to you. While we take great care in choosing our couriers, we are not liable for any loss or damage that may arise from their actions or omissions.

  4. General Delivery Terms

    • Payment First: Orders will only be dispatched once full payment has reflected in our account.
    • Delivery Commitment: We always aim to deliver on the agreed date, but occasionally circumstances outside of our control (such as traffic, weather, supplier delays, or courier issues) may cause a delay. If this happens, we will notify you as soon as possible.
    • Your Choice: If delivery cannot take place on the agreed date and you choose to cancel instead of rescheduling, we will refund you the full amount you have already paid.
    • Risk: Risk of loss or damage remains with Grab.Eat.Sip until the order is delivered to you or collected by you. Once delivery or collection has taken place, risk and responsibility for storage passes to you.
  5. Collection
    If you choose to collect, you will receive a confirmation email with the collection address and times. If you have chosen collection, please collect within the specified time to ensure product freshness. If collection is unreasonably delayed, we may not be able to guarantee quality.

  6. Storage After Delivery/Collection
    Once delivered or collected, the responsibility for proper storage of the products passes to you. To enjoy the best quality, please follow any storage or usage instructions provided on packaging. We cannot accept liability for deterioration or spoilage due to incorrect storage or delayed consumption.
